Another Year Still Here

ReVerbed @ Sticky Mike's Frog Bar 2015

Many of you in the UK Pop Punk scene will have heard of ReVerbed. They have been around for many years now and are still as strong as ever and to celebrate this they have released a brand new record aptly named ‘Another Year Still Here’.

Last night they finalised their launch tour for a home town gig in Brighton’s, Sticky Mikes Frog Bar. Supported by; The Holiday, Black Fire Rising and River Becomes Ocean, it was an explosive performance by the headline act. Using wireless packs they flew on and off of the stage keeping the energy in the room electric. Having seen these guys play before I knew what to expect but this time it seemed they’ve stepped up their game a little.

Zoe and George’s vocals complement each other beautifully, as always, covering all frequencies.  Call and response becomes a signature trait of the band and compliments their story telling lyrics.

The rhythm section held down intricate yet solid beats grounding the performance. Josh’s backing vocals highlighted each catchy and powerful chorus and Joe’s bass lines and jumping feet kept our eyes and ears constantly focused.

By the end of their show anybody who hadn’t heard of ReVerbed definitely had their single ‘Bury Me’ ringing in their ears from then onwards.

Their single and record is available on all digital outlets.
