1. Kooks @ Gardner St

Nestled in the heart of the North Laine, Kooks is a modern and quaint restaurant serving up all types of food, all day. Brunch however, happens to be a speciality of theirs. With an extensive and exciting menu including avocado with feta on sourdough toast, falafel with halloumi and poached eggs and all the classics you’d expect, if you’re looking for variety, this is the place for you!

2. Infinity Foods Kitchen @ Gardner St

Another North Laine favourite is Infinity Foods Kitchen. The organic inspired eatery prides itself on fresh ingredients with natural and organic wholefoods, as well as focusing on vegetarianism. Serving breakfast til 11.30am every day, they have a selection of vegan treats from pancakes to the full English breakfast of your dreams.

3. Brewed @ Lewes Rd

This quaint cafe is situated slightly further out of town but is definitely worth paying a visit to. Serving up speciality coffee and big breakfasts, Brewed is a great place to start your morning. They offer a selection of breakfast foods with a fun twist, such as fruit pancakes topped with banana, honey, yoghurt and peanut butter granola. It’s almost worth going for the Instagram-worthy presentation alone…

4. Silo @ Upper Gardner St

Priding themselves on their upcycled interior and focus on demonstrating respect for the environment in the process of making great food, Silo is a brunch destination like no other. Serving breakfast every day but Monday, their menu offers a few select choices, from their version of a full English to coddled egg, blood pudding and kimchi.

5. Billie’s Cafe @ Hampton Pl

If you’re looking for somewhere homely with a huge (and we mean huge) menu to choose from, Billie’s Cafe is for you. Serving oversized hashbrowns and pancakes, you’re sure to leave this eatery feeling satisfied. The menu offers plenty to pick from, including classics such as eggs benedict to more exciting dishes like huevos rancheros, a salsa melt or a farmhouse hash. They also offer a jumbo vegetarian breakfast so everyone is sure to be catered for.
