We may love fish & chips down here in Brighton, but another comforting staple that us Brightonians love is burgers! So where can you find the best burger in Brighton?

Burger Brothers @ North Rd

One of Brighton’s favourite low key burger joints is Burger Brothers, situated nearby the North Laine. This burger bar offers a cool-as-a-cucumber atmosphere, chalkboard specials and speciality burgers everyday. Offering a halloumi burger and a ‘veggie special’ these brothers know how to cater to their green audience. All Burger Bro’s burgers are sourced locally and made fresh on the premises!

SmoQue Grill @ Islingword Rd

Beloved Brighton takeaway place, SmoQue Grill, serves one of the best bites in the city. With great value meal deals, huge burgers and (arguably) perfect chips, you can’t go wrong with a burger from here. Even with their ever-growing popularity, they never fail to impress. Check out this joint if you know what’s good for you. PS, they even do a Nutella burger!

Martin’s Burger House @ East St

It may look just like your standard late night takeaway but Martin’s Burger House is so much more than that… Serving gourmet burgers and their signature potato wedges, Martin’s is another favourite amongst locals. With (what seems like) an endless menu, you’d be hard pushed not to find something that catches your eye here. They even have house specials including Bratwurst for those who fancy something new!

Brighton Burger @ Market St

Serving up one of the most eclectic menus on the Brighton burger scene is the Brighton Burger. Found nestled in the South Laine, Brighton Burger is somewhat of a hidden gem, which works for us meaning its prices are kept on the budget friendly side… Check out this up and comer if you’re looking for interesting specials such as wild boar and teriyaki buffalo.

Grubbs @ St James St

An icon on Brighton’s burger scene, you surely can’t be a Brightonian without having experienced a Grubbs burger at least once. Providing a list of classics and the option of beef, lamb or veggie burgers, Grubbs is a great staple. From your bog standard bacon burger to a ‘tropical’, there’s something for everyone.
