Brighton and Hove City Council has sold Hove’s seafront HQ.
The former seafront headquarters have been sold by the council for over £26 million. The sale was announced yesterday afternoon (Thursday 20th July).
Now the former-HQ is planned to be turned into housing. The building, King’s House in Kings Way, is expected to be turned into housing once the planning permission has gone through.
Warren Morgan, council leader, told a meeting at Hove Town Hall: “I am pleased to announce that contracts have been exchanged to sell the freehold of King’s House for £26,125,000.”
