Brunswick Winter Beer Festival

Cancel all plans! This weekend it is the Brunswick Winter Beer Festival, four days of beer drinking fun involving some of the best breweries in the county along with great live music from local talent and lots of family fun! With breweries such as Downlands Brewery, Dark Star, Brighton Bier and Goldstone Brewery, the weekend is sure to be an event not to miss!

Starting this Friday at six pm, Downlands Brewery are hosting the first night of the beer festival with a choice of eighteen cask ales to see yourself into the weekend. If you aren’t too hungover on Saturday, head to the Gun Brewery from eleven am to enjoy family activities and face painting by the wonderful Jessica UK as well as live music curated by independent label Overhead Wires Music. With bands such as Ultraviolet Pentagram, Jipsy Magic and The Long Goodbye singed to the label, you can guarantee you’ll hear some great local talent.

Sunday will see the Beer Festival hosted by 360 Degree Brewing Compnay with live music curated by The Brunswick Pub this will see the weekend of beer-related fun away nicely. Not only are they offering some great music and great beer, but there are also Live Home Brewing demonstrations throughout the afternoon by James Torr, who is involved in the Brighton Home Brewing Meetup Group. Then, we find ourselves back to Monday again where from twelve pm onwards they will be selling the remainder of the cask ales, which are also available to take home with you. Just in case you want to hold onto the memories of the Winter Beer Festival for just that little bit longer.

Don’t forget that it’s only for aged eighteen and over from eight pm, before then it’s fun for all the family! You can find out more about the Festival here.
