On Friday April 15th at 7pm at least one team member will meet the SUPER48 team at Dukes at Komedia to pick up the video theme, a compulsory sentence and a prop which all videos must include. Then you have exactly 48 hours to write, film and edit your film before sending it through to the team at 7pm on the 17th. Pretty much everything can be prepared beforehand, such as the location, crew, cast and equipment but there must be at least one local landmark, and the phrase and prop given to the teams by SUPER48. The film can be in any genre, from horror, thriller, drama or even a dance video. You can also have as many people in your team as you like, or you could split into two and make it really interesting.

Once everything is sent in the SUPER48 team go through the videos to ensure they comply with the rules and then there is a viewing on Thursday April 28th where everyone can vote for their 3 favourite videos. The winners will receive the ‘Best of show’ and get a fantastic prize. Of course, there will also be an array of prizes which a panel of judges from within the industry will decide on, including best actor, most creative and favourite story.

Anyone can enter and it only costs £35 for a team to register. It sounds like so much fun and it will be a great way to meet local talent, from filmmakers to musicians. You can find out more about registering here.
