Runners by the hundreds experienced some fun with a difference. Getting downright dirty with neon brights and powdered paint this was no normal obstacle course.
Water balloon fights, sponge ball ocean and inflatable slides were introduced to the mix. The event saw runners tackle 20 obstacles and eight colour stations, of which the runners were pelted with the powdered paint made from natural corn starch and dyed with food and cosmetic colours.
This Colour Obstacle Rush was held at Brighton Racecourse on Saturday. Competitors tackled a 3.1 mile course and grappled with space hoppers, bouncy castles and a foam tunnel.
If you are interested in taking part in future events, there is a separate Colour Run held in Madeira Drive, Brighton this coming autumn.
