Flower Crowns, Vintage Clothing And Tasty Food – Summer Street Food & Makers Markets At Brighthelm Centre
If you have enjoyed the Easter Boutique Market, you might also be interested in these upcoming events. Throughout summer, Paper Daisy Events will be hosting three Summer Street Food & Makers Markets, bringing together the best that designers and makers across the region have to offer.
The first Makers Market will take place this Saturday, 10th of June at the Brighthelm Centre. Shoppers can browse through stalls with handmade vintage clothing, jewelry, dog accessories, homeware, art and prints and other unique crafts. With almost 50 local traders and makers, there will sure be something for you.
For those who prefer getting creative themselves rather than looking at the work of others, there will be a workshop where you can make your own vintage flower crown. And why not get your face painted with a nice floral design for an extra touch of summer in your look?
After so much looking, shopping and creativity, you might find yourself hungry and in need of a little spot to rest. Other than the crafts traders, you will find a large variety of tasty street food including cakes, vegan delights, raw desserts, picnic boxes, jerk chicken, and paella.
Grab a bite and get comfortable either inside in the Pop up Cafe or outside in the garden area. While eating, you can enjoy some local music with live performances from Totally Ukulele, We Bop, Brighton’s All female A Capella Choir, and young singer-songwriter Anisha Melody. Funds raised at the Pop up Cafe will go to the Chestnut Tree House Foundation.
The market will open its doors this Saturday at 11 am. If you can’t make this Saturday, there is no need to be disappointed. The Summer Street Food & Makers Market will be back at the Brighthelm Centre on the 12th of August and the 2nd of September.
