The popular Regent Street pizzeria, Franco Manca is hoping to update its licensing laws to allow for the sale of alcohol to take off the premises.
The speciality sourdough pizza place is set to face a battle in order to be granted this possibility.
Franco Manca is hoping to extend its current licence in order to sell alcohol both on and off premises everyday between 10am and midnight.
Unfortunately for the North Laine eatery, it’s already facing opposition from Brighton and Hove City Council as well as the North Laine Community Association, both of whom have said it will exacerbate existing problems in the area.
Future plans for the restaurant will be discussed before a licensing panel tomorrow (Thursday).
