Sun: Classic Mojito

When Summer rolls around, the classic British drink is a Pimm’s. It’s an obvious choice when most pubs pack the drinks full of fruit. You’re just trying to get in your five a day after all! But when the sun is shining and it has been this summer here in Brighton you may want something lighter and more refreshing. Thats when the classic mojito shines. With the strong lime and mint flavours you’re going to be ordering another before you’ve even sat down.

Overcast and Muggy: Bellini

When it is humid outside you tend to feel a bit sticky and uncomfortable. What better way to cool off than with a peach Bellini. These made in slushy form are perfect to bring down that body temperature. The playful texture makes you feel like a kid drinking a slush puppy.

Raining: Caesar

This drink which is extremely popular in Canada is made from tomato juice and served with a salty rim. It is a slight variation on a Bloody Mary but contains all the same savoury spice elements. We can’t deny that English summers are full of rain and this unusual cocktail is perfect for waiting for the sun to come back out.

Find the recipe here. Remember Clamato juice is just the brand of tomato juice they use.
