Heritage Open Days: Hanover’s History Today!

Today you can go on a guided walk with Percy Almshouses to discover Hanover’s history.

You will learn about the streets, and the buildings architectural features, it will begin where the poor lived at The Percy and Wagner Almshouses and then go on to Hanover Crescent, the wealthier part of town during the Georgian Period.

The local history enthusiast will meet you at 6:30pm at the bottom of Islingword Road and Lewes Road near the Antiques shop, Hanover Place, Lewes Road, Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, BN2 9SD.

There is no need to book in advance and you will finish the walk in a local pub which is a great opportunity to meet fellow Brightonians. For more information click here.
