Humans of Brighton – Angelica The Backpacker
Hi, my name is Angélica Pereira,
Could you tell us a little bit about you Angélica? I’m a brazilian student, I came here to improve my English but also to travel around UK and Europe.
Is there something that you have dreamt of doing for a long time? One of my biggest dreams is to go backpacking around the world all by myself.
What do you like about travelling? Travelling is probably one of the things I like to do more. Get to know new cultures; places an people is something that really excites me!
What do you recommend doing in Brighton? There are so many places that I love in Brighton that it’s difficult to choose only one, but I believe that my favourite place is the North Laine. I also recommend going to Preston Park, Devil’s Dyke, having a walk around The Lanes and the centre, watching the sunset on Brighton Pier.
Could you describe Brighton in a few words? Brighton is a colourful, vibrant, open minded and inspiring city.
Brighton or London? Brighton, definitely!
How and where will you see yourself in 15 years? In 15 years I expect to be already successful whatever career I choose to follow and travelling a lot, for sure. I actually don’t have a certain place where I want to be, but I need to be somewhere abroad.
