Emily Stoner

If you love cats or just want to appreciate them, today is the day. A whole 24 hours dedicated to the beloved pet. Here in Brighton there are many places you can get a cat, having any pet is a big responsibility, if you believe you are ready to take that on then check out these places to adopt first.

Kitty In The City

This organisation again helps cats who have no one to look after them and live in constant fear of danger on the streets. If you can’t adopt a cat they have plenty of other ways in which you can help the charity run by volunteers. They have 11 cats which are looking for homes!!

The RSPCA offer shelter and care for animals until they are rehomed or can be released. The Sussex Brighton and East Grinstead Shelter has 7 cats currently looking to be rehomed, as well as other animals like dogs, rabbits, reptiles and ferrets. Lost Cats Brighton

This organisation turned from a lost and found list to a cat rescue company. On average they help around 200 cats each year be rehomed or reunited with their owners. They currently have four cats looking for homes, two of which are sisters and are looking for a home together!

Hopefully all these cute cats find homes soon!
