If you’re having difficulties including your five a day in your daily diet, a quick an easy but most importantly delicious way to get that over and done with is in the form of a smoothie. I usually store up on frozen fruit like mango and berries in my freezer which makes it easier to have all ingredients at hand when making a shake. This recipe is my favourite which I’ve been making for years and never get bored of. My mango smoothie.
- two hand full of spinach
- a hand full of frozen mango
- one banana
- 2 cm ginger
- fill up with either coconut water (or replace with water and any kind of fruit juice)
Throw everything into a blender and mix well. Drink and enjoy the wonderful nutrition boost it gives your body. You’ll be smiling all day.
