The award winning weekly podcast No Such Thing As A Fish is embarking on a UK theatre tour. Due to incredibly high demands for tickets more dates have already been added to March. The theatre show will include a hilarious first half featuring the strangest facts the team have selected from the year’s news, and then a live recording of the podcast itself.
No Such Thing As A Fish is considered one of the UK’s most popular podcasts and has currently recorded 150 episodes, toured the UK and Europe, released an episode onto vinyl, and been adapted by BBC2 into a hit series: No Such Thing As The News. iTunes UK has named it one of its top 10 most downloaded podcasts of 2016. Now the NSTAAF team are taking to the road with a new live show in which the new episodes of the podcast will be recorded.
Co-host Dan Schreiber has stated, “This is massively exciting for us. We started as four dorks sitting around a single microphone trying to make each other laugh.
“Things have changed a bit since we started – we now have four microphones – but it’s a thrill to know there are hundreds of thousands of other people who love the same wild and hilarious facts that we do.”
The hit podcast show features Dan Schreiber, James Harkin, Anna Ptaszynski and Andrew Hunter Murray, as they discuss the weird, wonderful and hilarious facts they’ve discovered in the last week.
Since its humble beginnings in 2014, No Such Thing As A Fish steadily accumulated more than 55 million downloads. It has also won numerous accolades including two Chortle Awards and iTunes’ Best New Podcast 2014, as well as featuring in the iTunes Best of 2016 list. The 2015/16 tour enjoyed success and sold out various venues across the UK.
