Police Concerned Over Missing Mother and Daughters
Police are growing concerned today over the disappearance of a Southwick mother and her two daughters.
Rachel Bouchaib, 37, and her daughters Zara, 12, and Safiyyah, 10, were last seen on Southwick Beach on Saturday (2 July) at around 7.45pm.
Since then the group have not been seen and the father of the daughters has voiced concerns over their absence.
It has now been nearly 4 days since the mother and daughters were last seen so the police are reaching out to the public for support and to report any sightings or information that they might potentially have.
PC Mark Green said that the “girls failed to attend their schools on Monday and there has been no contact from Rachel or the children”.
Anyone who has any information on the disappearance or has any information surrounding a potential sighting should contact the police immediately . Rachel is white, 5′ 4″ and slim, with black shoulder length hair. Zara and Safiyyah are of mixed ethnicity and both have black hair.
Contact police by ringing 101 quoting serial 1417 of 2/07. If they are in danger or in need of urgent medical attention, ring 999.
