Police Search for Witnesses After Stabbing in East Street, Horsham
The police are searching for any information relating to an attack on a 25-year-old man on Sunday 18th February at about 1.05am.
The man was walking home along East Street in Horsham town centre when the incident occurred. He was attacked, apparently without provocation, by three men wearing light coloured hoodies or jackets, at the junction between East Street and Park Way, outside the Cycle Room cycle shop.
The victim sustained severe injuries, and underwent surgery after being taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. He remains there in a serious but life threatening condition. Two of the stab wounds were to his body and one to an arm. Nothing was stolen from the victim’s person.
Detective Constable Sue MacCallum-Stewart said; “The victim is fortunate that the injuries were not even more serious, and the motive for this vicious attack is not known at present.

At this point no links have been made between this incident and another that occurred at around the same time in Rushams Road, Horsham.
