Thursday February 4th is World Cancer Day. The Brighton branch of Cancer Research UK are putting on two great events to raise money for the charity. The Brighton store are hosting a Vintage & Retro Fair at The Dorset Pub in the North Laines, which will feature a gorgeous variety of one off clothing, accessories and homeware. As well as this, there will be a charity raffle and live music from local artist Jacko Hooper. The event will start from 6pm on Wednesday February 3rd and will continue on World Cancer Day.
On the 4th, the pop up shop will be open from 10am-6pm so there is plenty of time to find an incredible bargain. There will also be a clothing donation station at the event, so you can donate your old clothes to be sold in their store on Western Road. This would be a great opportunity to have a clear out, and also gives you an excuse to have a huge spend-up at the Vintage Fair!
This is important for Cancer Research UK as not only will it raise a lot of money for a great cause but it also gives the Brighton branch of the charity to get to know their local community. It will be a great event and you never know, you might pick up your new favourite item!
