Although the weather is predicted to be rubbish lets not let that ruin our weekend! But of course as usual, it begins to get sunny again at the beginning of next week, when we all go back to work on Monday! Oh well, we can’t dwell on it for long because it is time to get excited about all of these events happening this weekend!
Friday – Summer of Love
Tonight there is a party to commemorate summer of 67′ and it’s 50th anniversary! Dubbed the summer of love the event has a secret location but will be full of tie dye patterns, daisy chains and music! The event says ‘Embody your carefree hippie… Spread peace… Kiss a stranger… Let good vibes fill the air… Share the love!’ So if you are ready to throw it back to the 60’s check out this event via the Facebook page!
Saturday – Free the Nipple
We mentioned Free the Nipple in another post about the importance of the movement. It will take place tomorrow along the seafront from 3pm-7pm and is a family friendly event! The rally is not just about nipples, but about protesting gender inequality and the double standards women face in solidarity with each other. Oh and loving yourself in whatever body you have!
Sunday – Homeless Pride 2017
This weekend at The Level, there will be something for everyone from tug of war to poetry. This event is to help the homeless, there will be food for those in need and tea for all. The event will take place from 12pm – 8pm and everyone is invited down to spare a little humanity.
