Woman Charged with Hove Stabbing is Remanded in Custody

Police are looking for witnesses to an incident that took place outside the Co-op store at Ridgeland House, Dyke Road, Hove. It involved a 45-year-old Brighton man being stabbed.

The incident occurred at around 9.15pm on Saturday 10th February. The victim was afterwards taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Katherine Bruzas-Quinn, a 32-year-old dressmaker, of Vernon Terrace, Brighton, appeared before the city’s magistrates on Monday 12th February. She was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

No plea was entered and she has been remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Monday 12th March.
