Fri 9th Sept, 9pm: Family Funktunes’ 15th Birthday Fundraiser

brighton journal family funktunesDante (Dan) and Delv (Si) have been entertaining us since 2001 with their exciting festivals and their monthly radio show, Family Funktunes, featured on 1BrightonFM! They are widely known for their great taste in soul music and their ability to entertain.

Don’t miss this amazing event as they celebrate the 15th anniversary of Family Funktunes by throwing a massive party at the Rialto Theatre with two floors of amazing music and entertainment.

UPSTAIRS: Along Came Shifty (Brighton’s freshest hip hop collective), The Impellers (Legendary Brighton funkers performing Ultimate Breaks & Beats), Dante, Delv, SiSupahoop, Mellortron & Beatwell.

DOWNSTAIRS: DJs Nitty Gritty (Woodenhorse Provocateur, Senor Mick, Daddy Marcus), Justin Pollard, Shamblin’ Sexton, Mick Robinson & KME.

This event is also a fundraiser for 1BrightonFM to help towards the great work they do in the Brighton community.

The Treason Show is now in it’s 15th year and has become a Brighton institution with its ability to wow its audiences and entertain. It is a great time whether it’s your first time seeing the show or if you’re already a fan. Come out for a great time and plenty of laughs.

You’ll be transported to a faraway, fantastical place by the psychedelic Afro-Latin mix of music, the elaborate costumes, brilliant light show, and array of aromas that is sure to please all of your senses.
