Armed Police For Brighton Pride
As a continuation from last year, armed officers will be present at this years Pride along with some security fencing in key places, according to Sussex Police.
This is to ensure everyones safety, and make it welcoming for all, as this years Pride is set to be the biggest yet.
Sussex police are hoping to work alongside the public. Assistant Chief Constable Laurence Taylor said; “As always, we ask that the public demonstrates a certain level of personal responsibility including things like taking care of belongings, following personal safety advice and flagging any issues or suspicious behaviour to event staff or police.”
Pride begins this Friday and runs through until Sunday.
