Artist’s impression released to help identify body found on beach
Sussex Police have released an artist’s impression of a man who was found at the foot of Birling Gap on Sunday the 18th of November 2018. Together with the East Sussex Coroner, they hope that issuing this image of his face will help to identify who this man is. His body was found at the foot of the cliffs, below the Belle Tout lighthouse and his injuries suggested that he had fallen from a great height.
The man is of Asian Appearance, 5″3 with dark hair and brown eyes and is estimated to be around 20 years old. He was wearing a grey hoodie, a grey and blue striped jumper, black trousers and brown shoes.
He was also wearing a turquoise coloured rosary bead necklace and a green lanyard with a small key and ‘I support refugees’ tag attached.
Coroners Officer Jon Padovani said; “All our enquiries so far have failed to establish his identity. We hope the artist’s impression, together with description, will jog memories, and enable us to find his family or other loved ones, wherever they may be.”
Sussex Police urge you to contact by calling 101, quoting serial 427 of 18/11/18 if you have information.
Further details of the body can be found on the UK Missing Persons website, which is available here.
