Brighton and Hove’s First Ever Beer Week Announced for Summer
The event will take place across a variety of venues.
Brighton and Hove is a city with an endless list of brilliant pubs and clubs for locals to frequent.
This is a city which loves its beer, and to celebrate this it will celebrate its inaugural beer week!
The event will take place from the 24th August to 2nd September, marking a fun-filled end of summer celebration!
A vast range of local pubs will be hosting the event. These include The Evening Star, Brighton Beer Dispensary and The Watchmaker’s Arms, to name but a few.
Also, several Sussex-based brewers will team up with the venues.
The event will not be localised to a single location, but instead a wristband-free event across the whole city.
Emma Inch, the host of beer-based Radio Reverb show Fermentation, has founded and will co-ordinate the event.
Speaking about the event, Emma has made clear that there will be much to experience: “There’ll be tap takeovers, brewery open days, walking tours, a home-brew competition, tastings, exclusive brews, music, food and some more quirky events”.
The Brighton and Hove resident of 25 years believes that the city is the perfect venue for the celebration: “drinking beer in Brighton and Hove is so different to drinking beer in any other city”.
This boozy event will whet the appetites of the entire city!
