Dido to perform in Brighton for her second UK tour of 2019
British singer-songwriter Dido announced a second UK tour, taking place this autumn, with one date at the Brighton Centre on the 4th of December.
This will follow her first UK tour of the year, starting on the 26th of May in Glasgow and consisting of five dates, all sold out. This is going to be her first UK tour in 15 years.
Dido will be promoting her new album, Still On My Mind, released only a few days ago, on the 8th of March 2019.
The autumn tour will start on the 28th of November in Birmingham, with dates in Glasgow, Manchester, Brighton, Ipswich and Sheffield. The tour will end in London on the 8th of December.
The London-born singer is most famous for hits such as ‘Thank You’ and ‘White Flag’. Her first album No Angel, released in 1999, was a huge success, and to this date Dido is one of the UK’s best selling artists.
Still On My Mind, Dido’s first studio album in five years, includes songs of different genres, ranging from hip hop to folk, with a predominant dance and electronic music sensibility.
Tickets will go on sale Friday 15th March at 9:30AM.
