Don’t Worry Your Fish n’ Chips Is Sustainable

Brighton being a seaside town, has a lot of fish and chip shops, and we love them. Cod and Chips is a classic English dish.

The UK is estimated to eat almost 70,000 tonnes of cod each year. But recently, The Marine Stewardship Council were unsure if Cod was sustainable due to a YouGov survey.

But today that confusion can be ended and cod from┬áthe North Sea can be eaten with a ‘clear conscience’, according to the fisheries body.

When buying your cod look out for the MSC blue tick label to ensure it has come from a sustainable and traceable source, as this will help protect stocks long into the future.
