Some of the biggest UK comedians to perform at first Brighton Comedy Garden

Hannah Midgley

A new comedy show is arriving in town. Brighton Comedy Garden, taking place in June at Preston park, will bring some of the UK’s most popular comedians to our city for five days of entertainment.

Alan Davies, Sean Lock, Adam Hills and Sara Pascoe are just some of the comedians performing in this new festival.

The event will take place inside a giant Big Top tent set in a boutique festival. On the event’s website it is reported that “Ticket-holders can expect a delicious selection of street-food traders, plus craft beers, summer-inspired cocktails and more at our bars and all the trimmings of a boutique festival alongside the astounding comedy.”

Will Briggs and Cass Randolph are the two men behind this project. The pair are not unfamiliar with the world of comedy festivals: some of their previous projects include Greenwich Comedy Festival and the Bristol Comedy Garden.

The two festivals have been extremely popular, and this new event is set to be just as successful. The creators said they chose Brighton for their new project due to its vibrant art and festival scene.

Brighton Comedy Garden will be taking place from 19-23 June. Tickets are already available for purchase and can be bought on the event’s official website.
