Get Involved in the ‘Say Aphasia’ Bake Sale
Georgia Hansen

If your team at work is looking for a way to give back to those in need this festive season, then why not hold a bake sale in the name of Say Aphasia?

Aphasia is a condition that impacts approximately 350,000 people in the UK. It most commonly occurs in stoke victims, making them unable to speak, read, or write. Say Aphasia works to help these people through support groups that provide benefits including reducing loneliness, helping to rebuild communication skills, and boosting confidence.

Right now, they are looking for generous workforces to come together to help raise funds for their worthy cause in the approach to Christmas. All it entails is you and your colleagues bringing in some homemade baked goods and other delicious treats to sell in the office on any day between now and December 13th. All proceeds are then to be passed on to Say Aphasia, and the biggest contributor is in for a special reward.

Whichever company earns the most money for the cause will be rewarded with a prize form Bluebell Vineyard. If that’s not enough, there are also chances to win prizes for your baking skills. The reward for winning first place and earning the title of “Best Bake” is a collection of tasty treats from the coveted Chocolatician. The second place prize winner will receive a box of cupcakes from the highly rated Cielo Cakery.

Enter the competition by tagging @sayaphasiacampaign in a picture of your baked goods on Instagram, or emailing the photo to Winners will be announced on 16th December, so get baking and keep your eyes peeled for the results!
