Help clean Brighton’s beaches on your lunch break tomorrow!

Help clean Brighton’s beaches on your lunch break tomorrow!
Lauren Nicolle

A lunchtime beach clean will take place tomorrow, 12th November, from 12-2pm.

Creative Bloom have been working in collaboration with Surfers Against Sewage to organize the clean for The Meaning Conference.

The Meaning Conference is holding a Fringe Festival which extends the spirit and purpose of Meaning through a range of independently organised events and adventures that take place in the hours and days around the main conference.

The event organizers will give attendees the chance to learn more about tackling the plastic pollution problem while on their lunch break.

They are urging Brightonians to take a few minutes out of your day to help clean up the plastic on Brighton’s beach and educate yourselves about the severity of plastic pollution.

The organizers promise it will be a relaxing affair for anyone “who cares about the health of the beach and the sea, and wants to how they can get involved in making a difference to the plastic problem.”
