Man connected with the murder of Nicola and Karen has been arrested
After 30 years, the murder of of Nicola Fellows and Karen Hadaway might have been finally solved: a man has just been arrested in connection to what happened on the 9 October 1986.
The two girls, who were just nine years old, had gone missing on that day; but their bodies were found raped and murdered less than 24 hours later in Wild Park, Moulsecoomb, in the north of Brighton.
Initially, the prime suspect arrested was found not guilty for the murder of the two girls; but was later sentenced in 1990 for the kidnapping and murder attempt of a seven-year-old girl.
This arrest might represent for their families the final conclusion of a quest for justice that has been going on since the eighties.
