The clouds are clearing over Brighton and as everyone knows, Brighton is best in the sunshine. There’s heaps going on this weekend all over the city so, make the most of the small patches of warmth with some of the fun stuff in our weekend guide!

Let’s Roll! Sushi Roll & Run Cookery Class

This session at Brighton Cookery School is suitable for all ages and for all diets, it’s not just fish in sushi! You’ll get full training on how to perfect the art of the sushi roll and you’ll get all ingredients included in the £35 class. If you’ve always wanted to know how they do it now’s your chance!

The Ugly Girls Club Monthly Meet-Up

This wonderful club runs once a month for a couple of hours at Marwoods cafe. It’s purpose is to act as platform whether you want to talk, listen or learn about equality and how you can enact it within your community. Anyone is welcome especially if you haven’t been before. It’s a space to exchange ideas, chat about experiences you’ve had and get your voice heard. If you can’t make it down to the meet-up check out their instagram account for daily affirmations of the power of women and non-binary people.

Brighton After-Dark Tour

There’s a whole new batch of Brighton crimes to take in and get scared by! This month the Brighton Murder tour will tell the tales of days gone by and the gore that went with them. There will be stories of the infamous Trunk Murders, the crime and punishment of Victorian Britain and stories of several murders that happened in the dark and quiet laines at night. The tour is only £5 per person, an hour and a half from 8pm and will meet at the Clock Tower on Saturday evening. Go down if you dare!

Pottery & Pints @ Craft Beer Co.

Here’s an opportunity to get your ‘Ghost’ on and get a bit tipsy whilst doing it. There will be special beers, of which your first one will be free as well as the chance to be taught by an expert potter. For £20 you get two hours of workshop with everything included, like the free pint and all of the materials and equipment! There’s two sessions, one at 5 until 7 and one from 7:30 until 9:30 so take your pick and make a pot!

Brighton’s Level Sunday Market

It’s the first mark of Spring! The Level Market returns this Sunday with their amazing range of crafts, trinkets and produce from local traders, makers, bakers, chefs, artists and more! It’s running all day from 10:00 until 17:00 and there will be music and entertainment as well as the vast array of stalls.
