Hurray! It’s Friday and there is a lot of stuff going on in Brighton. Haven’t got your plans for the weekend yet? Don’t look any longer, we have it all summed up for you!

Friday – Brighton’83 @ Latest Music Bar

Hands up if you love the 80s just as much as we do! Tonight,  DJ Jayney Blam Blam will put you on a crazy journey through the early 80s with all your favorite tunes ranging from New Wave to Electro. Are you ready to go crazy and start your weekend right? Then Latest Music Bar is the place to be.

Doors open at 9 pm. Latest Music Bar, Manchester Street, Brighton BN2 1TF. Tickets are £12. Proceeds go to Dolphin House Children’s Charity.

Friday – L O S T @ The Arch

Ready to dive deep into the mysteries of a forgotten civilisation hidden somewhere deep in the jungle with wild animals and ancient rituals? With their racing Tech and House beats, French DJ duo Amine Edge& Dance will transform The Arch into an exotic paradise where you can live out your craziest fantasies.

Starts at 11 pm. The Arch Nightclub,  187-193 Kings Road Arches, Brighton BN1 1NB. Tickets are £12.

Friday – Comedy Sans Frontieres @ Junkyard Dogs

Laugh your way into the weekend! When someone says ‘doctor’, you will probably think of a serious looking man in a white blouse. But not tonight! With different guests every night, Comedy Sans Frontieres will offer you hilarious entertainment in support of Doctors Without Borders.

Saturday – Brighton Bricks Lego Show @Dice Saloon

Let’s face it. No matter how hard we try it, sometimes we just can’t fight the little kid that lives inside us.  So why not let it out at the Brighton Bricks Lego Show with heaps of displays and lego games to play.

11 am to 6 pm. Dice Saloon, Vantage Point, New England Road, Brighton, BN1 4GW. Free.

Saturday – Ichiro @ Green Door Store

Four local rock bands, a group of professional burlesque dancers and loads of original music. Ichiro, Nemesis, 1 In Five and The Dead Reds will rock you through the night while sassy burlesque dancers will give you something to stare at.

Starts at 7 pm. The Green Door Store, Lower Goods Yard, Brighton Train Station, Brighton BN1 4FQ. Raising money for Shelter and Worthing Churches Homeless Project.

Saturday – The Ultimate Old School Party @ Funky Fish Club

70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s. Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Madonna… Get spoiled with all your favorite tunes from four decades and go crazy on the dancefloor.

Starts at 10 pm. The Funky Fish Club, 19-23 Marine Parade, Brighton BN2 1TL. Entry is £5.

Saturday& Sunday – Weekend Without Walls

Grab the family and head out to Brighton’s Parks on Saturday and Sunday. As one of the free events of this year’s Brighton Festival, Weekend Without Walls offers free outdoor performances and activities throughout the weekend.

From 12 pm till 5 pm Saturday and Sunday. Easthill Park on Saturday. East Brighton Park on Sunday. Free.

Saturday & Sunday – Artists Open Houses

Three more weekends to sneak into the homes of Brighton’s local artists. Follow the different trails all over the city and see what the artists are up to.

Most are open between 11 am and 6 pm. Locations all over Brighton. For more information see here.

Saturday & Sunday – Brighton Tattoo Convention @ Brighton Centre

If you are still looking for some inspiration for your next tattoo, you will definitely find it here. Tattoo artists from all over the world will showcase their artworks and tattoo customers on spot. This event will make the heart of every tattoo lover go faster!

Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm to 8 pm. Brighton Centre,  King’s Road, Brighton BN1 2GR. Tickets can be purchased on spot or online here.

Sunday – Music Fest on Brighton Palace Pier

Music! Music! Music! Bands and single artists from Brighton and the area will offer you free music all Sunday afternoon long. Highlights will be Brighton’s Singing Barber Peter Joannou and singer-songwriter Tom Baxter.

From 2 pm till 9 pm. Horatio’s on Brighton Pier. Free entry. In aid of Cancer Research UK.

Sunday – Quiz Night @ The Bear Inn

Looking for something different to end the weekend? There is cash and bottles of wine to be won, free pizza to eat and a jukebox bingo at the end of the night. Happy guessing!
