Whilst raves are closing in the early hours of the morning, another rave, albeit of a different sort, is just beginning.

Yesterday morning saw the launch of ‘Rise & Shine’, a brand new raving experience brought to you by Simon Twiddy from local underground radio station Trickstar, and Steve Jones, a promoter from LGBT club Revenge.

The alcohol-free event is open to all ages, and sees what they describe on their Facebook page as “a new era of ‘clubbing'”, with the event opening from 6:30am till 10:30am.

Unlike your usual rave, Rise & Shine offer everything from yoga, retro workout sessions, smoothies, coffees, massages, inflatables, glitter, face paint, and vegan snacks.

Designed essentially as a wake up call for the people of Brighton before their busy days, the event joins many other cities around the UK in the trend of early morning raving, suiting the often eccentric, and always bold character of Brighton.

If you fancy joining the early morning rave crew, keep an eye out on their Facebook page for announcements on their next events and get ready to dance your way into the days ahead.
