The 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards have announced the TV shows and actors that will compete for the top prizes at the ceremony in September.

The highly anticipated show is set to air just months after the 2023 Emmy Awards, which were delayed in early January due to last year’s actors and writers strike.

Wednesday (July 17) vice president Star Tony Hale and Abbott Elementary SchoolForbes’ Sheryl Lee Ralph reveals the TV shows and stars competing for this year’s awards.

As expected, FX’s historical drama Shogun and black comedy The bear He’s received numerous nods as well as his controversial Netflix film Richard Judd, baby reindeer.

Eligible shows for the Primetime Emmys must air in the United States between June 1, 2023, and May 31, 2024, when the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences selects the nominees.

The winners will be revealed at a live ceremony on Sunday, September 15.
