“Your little one has already seen this,” Apple TV+ teased in a social media post revealing a first look at Season 2 of “Severance” featuring Adam Scott. Production on the sci-fi series’ second season began in October 2022 but was then postponed due to creative differences and then a double whammy in Hollywood. Filming finally wrapped in April 2024.
Severance stars Scott, Brett Lauer, Zach Cherry, and John Turturro as employees of a shady biotech company that “separates” its employees through a medical procedure, keeping their work and home lives completely separate. The cast also includes Patricia Arquette, Trammell Tillman, Christopher Walken, Jane Tullock, Michael Chernus, and DeShane Lachman. The series is written by Dan Eriksson and directed by executive producers Ben Stiller and Aoife McArdle.
More footage from the long-awaited second season of “Severance” has been released as part of a teaser video for “Coming to Apple TV+,” which also included the series “Silo,” “Slow Horses,” “Pachinko” and “Shrinking.” As well as the Apple movies “Fly Me to the Moon” with Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum (July 12); “The Instigators” starring Matt Damon and Casey Affleck (August 6); and “Wolves,” which reunites George Clooney and Brad Pitt (September 20).
The teaser also includes footage from the soon-to-be-released originals “Presumed Innocent,” starring Jake Gyllenhaal (June 12), and “Lady in the Lake,” a limited series with Natalie Portman (July 19).
