Zynex, Coherus BioSciences, Universal Insurance Holdings – Coherus, Zynex, and Universal Insurance stock dropped News from the S&P 500 Dow Jones indicates that stocks will move within the small-cap indexes. Coherus will leave the Midcap 400 company in favor of the Midcap 600 company, while Universal Insurance will leave the Midcap 600 company altogether. Zynex stock fell nearly 6% on the news that the company will leave the 600 Small Business Index.
American Express — Shares in the credit card giant rose 0.5% after the upgrade, outperforming the sector from RBC earlier in the day.
Airbnb — Shares of the vacation rental company rose more than 4% in the aftermath From the S&P Dow Jones Indexes announcement Friday that Airbnb will join the S&P 500 later this month. The S&P 500 is widely tracked by large index funds, which could create buying pressure on Airbnb shares in the coming weeks.
NextGen Healthcare – Healthcare stock up over 11% Bloomberg reported Monday that the company is in late-stage talks with potential acquirer Thomas Bravo.
Oracle — The software stock added 1.5% in pre-market trading after being upgraded to an overweight of equal weight by Barclays. The company said the company’s cloud business should feel the tailwinds from artificial intelligence.
The Brady Corporation — Shares rose nearly 11% after the company reported its quarterly results. Brady posted adjusted earnings of $1.04 per share, while analysts polled by FactSet had expected a profit of 93 cents.
Warner Bros. Inc. Discovery — Shares fell 1.2% after the company warned that writers’ and actors’ strikes could negatively impact cash flow by $300 million to $500 million.
