The premiere date for “Daredevil: Born Again” has been officially set: the Marvel Television series will premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.
The news was announced at the “Marvel Fanfare With CB Cebulski” panel at New York Comic Con on Saturday, where “Daredevil: Born Again” stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio made a surprise appearance on stage. During the panel, Sanaa Amanat, Series Producer and Director of Production and Development at Marvel Studios, joined Marvel Editor-in-Chief Cebulski to talk about filming the first season of Daredevil: Born Again in New York City. They also shared a special sneak peek of the series with the audience.
The official story of Daredevil: Born Again is: Matt Murdock (Cox), a blind, high-powered lawyer, fights for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (D’Onofrio) pursues his own political goals. Endeavors in New York. When their former identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
Along with Cox and D’Onofrio, the series brings back Jon Bernthal as the Punisher; Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page; Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson; Wilson Bethel as Poindexter. Newcomers to the cast include Michael Gandolfini, Margherita Leviva, Jeremy Earl and Ayelet Zurer, who takes over the role of Vanessa Mariana Fisk from Sandrine Hoult in the original series.
Showrunner Dario Scardapane serves as executive producer alongside Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Sana Amanat, Chris Gary, Christopher Ord, Matthew Corman, Justin Benson, and Aaron Moorhead. The episodes are directed by Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, David Boyd, Benson and Moorhead.
