The colossal winter storms could not calm the souls of these celebrities.
Emma Thompson, who stars in Netflix’s “Matilda the Musical,” recently told USA TODAY what she loves most about Christmas.
“I love everything,” says Thompson. “I love decorating the tree. I love singing carols. I love going to caroling services. I’m going to do a reading at Westminster Abbey (in London). There isn’t much about Christmas that I don’t like.”
On the other hand, her husband, actor Greg Wise, prefers to avoid Christmas cheer altogether: “He’d rather go away somewhere else,” Thompson jokes. “A cave, basically. Unadorned.”

Christina Hack and Ant Anstead may not be together anymore, but they do agree on one thing: the holidays are all about family.
