The national media is abuzz with reports about the possible demands of Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar, who are playing key roles in forming the NDA-led government at the Center with Narendra Modi as Prime Minister.
A popular national media outlet reported that Chandrababu is definitely demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh as his first and foremost priority, which would lead to more funds, incentives and tax breaks for the state. According to reports, he is also keen to claim the post of Lok Sabha Speaker.
Next, it may demand eight central ministries, including land transport, rural development, health, housing and urban affairs, agriculture, ICT, education, and finance in the Ministry of Transportation.
If this happens, Andhra Pradesh will have a lot of scope for development, provided the above ministries work towards the state with special attention. Development will reach new heights, ensuring a lot of jobs and opportunities for people, from daily wagers to engineers.

On the other hand, the other major player in the NDA, Bihar’s Nitish Kumar, is keen on the Railways and Agricultural Industries ministries, according to national media reports.
Meanwhile, national media suggest that this may happen unless the Indian bloc presents any surprises in the next couple of days.
