In a new message posted on his profile on the Truth social network, former President Donald Trump vowed that “only God prevented the unthinkable from happening” regarding yesterday’s assassination attempt during an event in Pennsylvania.
“Thank you for your thoughts and prayers as yesterday God is the only one who has prevented the unthinkable. We are not afraidBut we will stand firm in our faith and face evil,” he said in a post published this morning.
“Our love goes out to the other victims and their families. We pray for the recovery of the injured and keep in our hearts the memory of the civilian who was killed in such a brutal manner,” he added.
Finally, he called for unity among his followers and expected him to address the nation in the coming days. “Now, it’s more important than ever that we stand together and show our true character as Americans, to be strong and determined and not let evil win.
