FLORRY BRANCH, Ga. — The time for speculation is over.
The Atlanta Falcons’ initial 53-man roster for the 2024 season was released Tuesday at the NFL deadline at 4 p.m. ET. The offense has 24 players, the defense 26, and special teams rounds out the tally with three.

The Falcons released 13 players Sunday to bring their roster to 77 by Tuesday. That meant they had 24 more trades to complete before the deadline. They released 21 players, waived or injured others, and placed one player on the reserve or injured list but was designated for return.
Atlanta also released its international player, who was never counted on the 90-man training camp roster.
