DeHaan says prices in the US are lower than many countries at the moment.

A GasBuddy spokesperson said that even as prices rose, US consumer demand rose 3% last week compared to the previous week.

The good news is, most agree that the prices that did go up in the end will eventually go down including here at home.

“Eventually, we will reach peak inflation, where things will stop rising, and then we will start to go down,” he said.
