As Samsung gears up to officially unveil its latest foldable Galaxy Z smartphones at its Unpacked event scheduled for July 10, a new batch of leaked images have spoiled the surprise even more. The renders of the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 come courtesy of a well-known leaker. Evan Blass And Where Futurewhich shows the colors that might be available along with sharing many similarities with previous leaks from Smart Breaks, On Lex, And the icy universe.
The images show a more squared-off design for the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which was also seen in prototype images earlier this month. The hinge and bezels surrounding the outer display appear smaller, and black rings can be seen around the triple rear camera lenses. Leaked specs shared by Smart Breaks Some leaks suggest that this might be the only notable update to the Z Fold 6’s camera system, as it appears to have exactly the same setup as its predecessor.
Renders provided by Blass show two color options for the Galaxy Z Fold 6: Space Gray and Navy Blue. Colors differ slightly from the Z Fold 5’s gray and more vibrant blue Online exclusivesand the separate batch of leaked images shared by Where is the future? (Which matches the one Blass provided) suggests that the Fold 6 will also be available in a light pink color.
Meanwhile, the latest images of the clamshell-like Galaxy Z Flip 6 are almost identical to the previous Z Flip 5 model. The color options we saw — blue, silver, yellow and green — They appear to have a matte “brushed metal” look, and the rings around the two rear cameras appear to be color-coordinated to match the device. It’s a nice change, and thankfully the larger cover display has been retained, but the lack of major design tweaks may disappoint Samsung users expecting more of an update for the next generation.
Both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 are expected to be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors. Rumors also suggest that the Z Flip 6’s main camera will be 50MP from the current 12MP version, and will come with an upgraded 4,000mAh battery instead of the 3,700mAh battery found in the Z Flip 5.
