Horror after United Airlines flight diverted mid-air due to passenger’s disgusting behavior

A United Airlines flight bound for Boston was diverted mid-air Sunday due to a “biohazard” issue.

United Airlines Flight 2477 departed from Houston at 9:39 a.m. Central Time on Sunday bound for Boston, but had to reroute when a customer became ill, the airline told DailyMail.com.

The plane, a Boeing 737-800, was diverted to Washington Dulles International Airport and landed at 1:36 p.m. ET, according to Flight Aware.

“Especially with this kind of biohazard, I think we need to get this plane off the ground as quickly as possible,” a pilot on board told air traffic controllers in an audio recording shared online. X.

The plane was diverted to Washington Dulles International Airport and is scheduled to continue its journey to Boston Logan Airport (pictured) at 3:40 p.m. ET on Sunday.

“The crew is vomiting and passengers all over are asking for masks etc.

“I spoke to the crew and it seems like things are pretty bad out there.”

None of the 155 passengers and six crew members required medical assistance upon arrival at Dulles Airport.

“The aircraft is currently undergoing a deep cleaning and we are working to direct customers to Boston soon,” United said.

On July 9, a passenger bit off a piece of fabric from a United Airlines flight attendant’s shirt and told an “old lady” she should “go back to Russia” during a nervous breakdown in flight.

The woman was on United Airlines Flight 762 from Miami to Newark, but barely made it off the runway before she became unruly over a petty fight in the restroom.

The video, recorded by another passenger, began after crew members bound her wrists with plastic ties and she was wrestling with three of them.

Suddenly, she bit one of their shoulders, tore off a piece of cloth and left it floating on the ground in front of the stunned plane.

“Stop touching me… leave me, I’m a damn girl, are you trying to kill me?” she screamed next.

The video cuts to the woman, standing in the aisle with her hands tied behind her back, yelling at everyone not to fly on United.

Everyone on the plane applauded as she was removed after the flight was diverted to Orlando and the woman was escorted out of the airport by police.

“These people have an attitude problem and they don’t do their job at all. They’re tying me up. Why are you tying me up?” I screamed.

“Why, you bitch? Why the hell are you handcuffing me? Why, why, why?”

One of the passengers asked her to stop screaming, and she said, “Go back to Russia, you old lady,” and then unleashed a continuous stream of insults and said, “I’ll kill you, you bitch.”

An audio recording from the plane showed the woman screaming: “You are a disgrace, you piece of filth, I wish I could spit on you right now.”

“Don’t do this, don’t do this, you’re insulting everyone on this plane,” one of the flight attendants warned her.

Everyone on board applauded when she was ejected after the flight was diverted to Orlando and delayed for three and a half hours.

In April, a United Airlines flight had to be diverted after a dog defecated in the first-class aisle.

The chaotic incident was captured on video by Reddit user gig_wizard, who said he was on board Flight 422, a five-hour flight from Houston to Seattle, on Friday, April 7, when the incident occurred.

“Dog had a messy accident in the aisle in first class,” one passenger wrote next to the photo.

A United Airlines spokeswoman confirmed to the Daily Mail that a United Airlines flight had to be diverted after a dog relieved itself in the aisle of the plane – just outside the first class bathroom.

The Reddit user said the flight was diverted to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, where ground crew spent more than two hours trying to clean the carpet with paper towels, noting that the smell made them sick.

“The gate staff continued to shout at the passengers and crew,” they added.

“The smell never went away.”

Ultimately, the several-hour cleaning operation was unsuccessful, after the first-class toilet was declared unusable.

“It looks like the dog poop wasn’t resolved there. The food spoiled while we were on the ground so there were very few snacks left,” the passenger wrote.

In an email to DailyMail.com, United Airlines confirmed the incident but declined to share any further details.
