Jack Antonoff’s ride down the aisle was also a love letter to his roots.
The musician married actress Margaret Qualley on Saturday in Antonoff’s home state of New Jersey in a ceremony and reception at Parker’s Garage & Bird and Betty’s in Beach Haven on Long Beach Island. Photos obtained by People magazine Shown to the ou decorated coupleR in elegant bridal wear for their wedding: Antonov in a classic black and white tuxedo and Qualley in a white halter dress.
The event was also a star-studded event that included fellow Antonoff musicians Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey, as well as Channing Tatum, Zoe Kravitz and Qualley’s mother, actress Andie MacDowell, in attendance, according to Social media posts and People magazine. The dignitaries also attended a rehearsal dinner for the ceremony on Friday.
“We don’t get things like that naturally,” Beach Haven resident Margery Miller said of the celebrity attendees. “There are stars here. Ray Romano was here, and one of the Jonas Brothers and Danny Clinch had just held an open reception, but Taylor Swift took over the top.”
USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Antonoff and Qualley for comment.
A crowd gathered outside the Black Whale in Beach Haven, where the rehearsal dinner was taking place, but Miller—who stopped by—said there was no disturbance.
“There were little girls jumping up and down, and there were a lot of people but it was like the Fourth of July,” Miller said. “Very organized and nothing out of control.”
Antonoff, 39, grew up in New Milford and Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, and said he “spends every summer on Long Beach Island” to the Asbury Park Press, part of the USA TODAY Network, in a past interview. Qualley’s wife, star of “Maid” and “The Leftovers,” is 28 years old.
