Jennifer Lopez looked stunning while out and about in New York City on Thursday morning.
The 54-year-old singer put on a chic display in a bright blue button-down blouse teamed with a faux leather midi skirt and a cozy, floor-grazing trench coat.
She arrived fashionably and greeted a crowd of fans at ABC Studios before her appearance on The View.
The Marry Me actress – who revealed she gets jealous when people hit on her husband Ben Affleck – added to her height in a pair of very high-heeled lace-up boots and tall platforms.
On the same day, she also announced her upcoming This Is Me… Now tour in support of her new album and her music and documentary film.
While on her promotional tour, she showed off just one of her many stylish looks.
To match her patent leather shoes, she carried a crocodile-embellished Hermès handbag.
She threw her brunette tresses into a sleek ponytail to showcase a pair of shiny silver earrings.
She wore a monochromatic pink makeup look and oversized rectangular sunglasses.
While chatting with the hosts of The View, she revealed that the twin teens aren't always fans of her style.
When asked if Max and Amy, both 15, are really “tough critics”, she confirmed that they are not afraid to be honest with their famous mother.
First, she told the hosts how her kids told her they loved her old album, This Is Me… and then even more so her new album.
“So when I started working on This Is Me… now, I approached it the same way — obviously I was inspired by the same subject matter,” she explained. 'So I went there.
“So when they heard this, and they saw the movie last night at the premiere, I think they were really amazed,” she continued.
“They were saying, ‘Whoa,’” she recalled. did you do that? This is what you were doing?
“And suddenly, you're all that,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg said.
“Just for a second,” she replied. Then we go right back to “Mom, don't wear the crop top!”
During her appearance, The View also reportedly monitored Lopez's response to one of the co-host's questions, according to a report by Entertainment Weekly.
When co-host Ana Navarro asked her how she told diverse She financed the three-part, $20 million multimedia project herself, and the live sound was cut.
“I think it was hard for people to understand what I was trying to do,” she began. “I didn't want to do videos or a bunch of videos. That wasn't the goal. It's not quite a long film. It's somewhere in between.”
“It's kind of that meta-music,” she continued. This is like something new, and I wanted to do something new.
“I think a lot of people couldn't understand it, so no one wanted to fund it and no one wanted to put it into their services,” she added.
He was like, trust me. This is something new and exciting. “At the end of the day, I was like, you know…” she said before muting the voice.
When the sound of the show came back on, Lopez was laughing and the audience was applauding.
'…And then I'll show them. I'll show them! She said. “Then, when I showed them, they said, 'Oh, we love that!'
Her album and EP, both titled This Is Me… Now, are scheduled to premiere on Friday, February 16.
Her documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told will be released on February 27.
