The Princess of Wales has reportedly been more ‘out and about’ with her family in recent weeks as she continues to undergo cancer treatment.
Kate, 42, has kept a low profile since receiving her diagnosis in January and has not undertaken any official royal duties this year.
The Mail Online reported that while she was venturing out again, the palace stressed that she still needed time and space to recover.
They also added that the princess was “deeply moved” after being inundated with “tens of thousands” of congratulatory cards, according to palace officials.
This comes a week after she gave her first major project update since beginning her cancer treatment.
The Royal Early Childhood Foundation Taskforce has released a report personally reviewed by Kate from Home suggesting that if businesses adopted more family-friendly working practices, £45.5 billion could be added to the economy annually.
A spokesperson for the Princess said: “The work of the Prince and Princess projects is ‘always on-going’…Early childhood is a huge priority for the Princess and so she has been kept fully up to date throughout the development of the work of the staff and has seen the report.”
The princess was inundated with messages of wishes
The Princess of Wales received “tens of thousands” of congratulatory cards after revealing her cancer diagnosis, palace officials said.
The palace’s correspondence team are now said to have been “deeply touched” by the outpouring of love for Kate shown after she told the world about her health scare in March.
The Mail Online said the Court Post Office – which handles letters addressed to the royal family – had seen a much higher level of letters sent to it since March.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Archewell Foundation is no longer listed as ‘delinquent’ by the California Register of Charities and Fundraising.
On Monday, the charity was listed as “delinquent” and a delinquent notice letter was sent to the charity on May 3 due to “failure to submit required annual report(s) and/or renewal fees”, but on Tuesday the status Archewell Foundation has changed It has been changed to “current”.
The letter warned that an organization listed as delinquent is prohibited from “soliciting or disbursing charitable funds” and “may have its registration suspended or canceled by the registry.”
A statement issued by the California Department of Justice on Tuesday said that Archewell’s organization is “current and in good standing.”
A California Department of Justice spokesperson said: “After contacting our registry of charities and fundraising, the organization is up and running and in good standing.”

The King plants a sapling from a felled sycamore tree in Windsor Great Park
King Charles is set to plant a sycamore sapling in a royal garden, eight months after the famous tree was cut down.
On Monday, the King had his first sapling grown from seeds collected from the tree – which had stood next to Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland for 200 years – when it was cut down in September.
Once the seedling matures into a sapling, Charles will plant it in Windsor Great Park for visitors to enjoy as a symbol of the hope and beauty that can come from loss, the National Trust said.
