Pre-ordered copies of the Gotham Knights were accidentally sent to a few customers before they could be dispatched. The “lucky” players who got their copies early were sharing screenshots online… and this game is really bad. Check out our video if you’re too lazy to read it.
Gotham Knights It looked great in trailers (And the We said a lot in time). It was a great idea. He introduced us to four distinct Batman heroes and continued what worked in Arkham Knight, but on the latest technology. Unfortunately, the studio ignored the last part. At least, that’s what it looks like based on what we’ve seen now…

Knights of Gotham Convertible: Shockingly Poor Quality
A number of copies of Gotham Knights were sent to customers a week ahead of schedule, but these players are starting to load the gameplay online…and fans are furious. In short: the game doesn’t look next-gen, it’s a far cry from reality, with Console versions are locked at 30 fps. Keep in mind that many games now run at up to 120fps on next-gen consoles. Hell, even the PS4 has a ton of 60fps games. But this is not a completely new version.
You might be tempted to think that this is just a single player experience, and maybe with it Activate performance mode The game will improve. But you would be wrong:
No Performance Mode on Xbox One Series S/X or PS5 Confirmed by Devs on Discord From Gotham Knights
The developers even had to cancel the older generation versions, yet they couldn’t run the next generation exclusive at over 30fps. And we don’t hate the developers here: they explain that this limitation is because the game offers unconnected co-op in a massive open world. And we get it, that’s going to be a technical challenge and that’s the price we paid. We don’t hate it, it’s just a shame that the generation started strong with the 60fps title after another.
Again, we don’t want to be unfair to the studio here. If you can get past the poor technical performance, there is a good chance that you will still be able to enjoy this game. But that’s a bad look for Warner Bros., which can’t be extended with the same kind of indulgence that we give indie developers. This game should be better for 2022 version. This, combined with the generally bad press this game generates, has caused some people to even cancel their pre-orders.
If we haven’t convinced you to give up on this game, and you still want to enjoy Gotham Knights, all the power is yours. Here is a link to Buy Gotham Knights. But don’t be surprised when you start playing and feel overwhelmed.
