Meghan Markle’s estranged family shared never-before-seen home videos and made a public plea for the family to be reunited in a surprise interview on Sunday.

Meghan’s father Thomas, half-brother Thomas Jr and half-sister Samatha said they hadn’t spoken to the Duchess of Sussex in five years, but would welcome her and Harry with open arms – and never give another media interview again – if the family could also be reunited.

The American trio’s interview with Australia’s 7News Spotlight came ahead of next week’s coronation of King Charles Markle’s father-in-law, which the 41-year-old will not attend.

The duchess’s reluctant family members and royal mortals were asked what they would do if Meghan agreed to reconcile with them.

Markle’s estranged father, Thomas Markle, who suffered a stroke last year, has made a “death bed” plea to reconcile with his daughter, whom he feels has abandoned him since she married Prince Harry in May 2018.

According to Thomas, Megan did not communicate even after he suffered a stroke.

When asked why they feel Meghan is distancing herself from them publicly, the trio said they fear she thinks they are not “good enough” for the royal family.

Samantha said: “What she said to the royal family, what she said to Harry that he would not have given up on, was not in keeping with the truth.”
