Despite claims of it being a “quadruple A” live service experience, Skull and Bones user Metacritic score has taken a hit since the pirate ship game's release on Friday, February 16.
Based on 222 user scores recorded so far, Skull and Bones' user score is just 2.8 out of 10, making it the lowest-rated game of 2024 released so far when sorted by User points alone.

Ubisoft president Yves Guillemot recently described Skull and Bones as a “quadruple A” live-service pirate ship game.
While discussing the long-awaited project with investors earlier this week, Guillemot justified the £70 live service game's launch as a fully-configured experience that's also supported by a battle pass, premium, and in-game currency. Shop.
